Dance to You! at the Residence at St. Peters - Holiday Edition!

In December of 2023, Dance to You! was delighted to be invited to return to the Residence at St. Peters in River Edge, New Jersey for their second performance. In the spirit of the holidays, we put together a very festive program for the residents, including many holiday-themed dances!

First, we performed excerpts from the beloved ballet, The Nutcracker, whisking our audience away to the enchanted Land of Snow where they watched excerpts from “The Waltz of the Snowflakes.” They then traveled to the Land of Sweets where they enjoyed performances of dancers from all around the world including “Hot Chocolate” from Spain, “Coffee” from Arabia, “Tea” from China, and “Marzipan” from France. Then, they enjoyed excerpts from “The Waltz of the Flowers,” and finally, the famous “Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy.”

Finally, to end the evening, we performed a group dance to Ariana Grande’s “Last Christmas,” which we all took part in choreographing together! We were so thankful to perform for so many familiar faces once again and to spend the holidays with the residents! We are looking forward to returning soon for our next performance!
